S. Robert Hernandez, DrPH, Distinguished Service Professor and director of the Executive Doctor of Science in Healthcare Leadership Program in the School of Health Professions, is being honored for 50 years of service to UAB.
Two others — Stephen Barnes, Distinguished Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, and Suzanne Oparil, M.D., Distinguished Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Disease, will be honored for 45 years of service.

Alford Endowed Chair in Pediatric Infectious Diseases; Deborah Square Gray, operator in the UAB Call Center; Landis B. Manderson II, senior technology architect in User Services and Identity Management; Audrey E. Minter, messenger in the UAB Civitan-Sparks Clinics; Cynthia Owsley, Ph.D., Nathan E. Miles Chair of Ophthalmology in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences; Cathy D. Shelton-Kimbrel, now-retired program manager in Enrollment Operations; and Michael E.
