App lets you request a safety escort ride

The Critical Support site at go.uab.edu/criticalsupport walks users through a six-step process they can follow in high stress situations to help ensure a safe and successful outcome for all involved — and each step includes additional guidance and support tools.

Download it through the UAB’s mobile app or employee portal and keep a copy in your Apple Wallet or WalletPasses.

The one-session training, hosted through Zoom, is available at no cost to both students and employees as part of National Suicide Prevention Month programming.
