In today’s fast-paced UAB community, email communication is pivotal and managing and organizing messages efficiently can be challenging. HR Learning & Development (L&D) has developed a brand-new micro-learning Zoom series to help employees master their Outlook email and calendar functions.
Improving Your “Outlook" will launch a new 30-minute episode every two weeks.
“We have found a way to tap into tech and help others by creating bite-sized episodes that help easily transform email productivity at UAB,” said Alison Kniseley, Learning & Development Specialist.
Each episode will feature a tool and demonstrations to boost productivity and reduce the stress of email management. Episodes will feature guest experts from around the community who will share nuggets to help participants improve their email experience, one session at a time.
“Employees can embrace the future of email management with the Improving Your Outlook Program,” said HR Learning & Development manager Jerad Watson. “L&D can help you say goodbye to overwhelming inboxes and calendars and hello to a seamlessly organized, productive and stress-free email workflow and have fun doing it.”
The first Improving Your “Outlook” session will be held 11:00 a.m. July 31 and focus on the Scheduling Emails feature in Outlook. Guest expert Jim Bakken will explain how he uses this feature in his role as UAB’s chief communications officer. Register online.
