A new home page makes the most of digital content that emphasizes UAB’s dynamic urban location and distinctive elements of campus life to the more than 1 million annual visitors who use the front door at uab.edu.
“UAB is an amazing institution with so many important stories to tell,” said Chief Communications Officer Anne Buckley. “The redesigned uab.edu will allow us to share these stories better than ever before with prospective and current students, faculty, staff, donors and more.”
The site’s navigation structure has been updated, and heavily visited links can be accessed directly from the home page, making it easier for users to find the information they seek.
A template modeled on the new design will be made available to departments and units in the upcoming months.
The Office of University Relations also launched a second site, Did You Know, to highlight UAB accolades and distinctions in an interactive format.
