Researchers from varying disciplines will make oral and poster presentations during the UAB Health Disparities Research Symposium Monday, April 7 in the DoubleTree Hotel.

The presentations will highlight he work under way to eliminate health disparities and provide equal care and outcomes for all individuals in Alabama and the nation, and the Charles Barkley Young Investigators Awards will be selected at the event.

Also, the documentary series Unnatural Causes …Is Inequality Making Us Sick? which premiered on PBS, will be featured in the program and a expert discussion panel will follow.
