Michael Flannery, associate director for Historical Collections (Lister Hill Library), was recently awarded the Archivists and Librarians in the History of Health Sciences Publications (ALHHS) award for his 2004 book, Civil War Pharmacy.
The ALHHS Publication Award, established in 1992, is awarded to the author(s) of a publication related to the history of the health-care sciences or works on the bibliography, librarianship and/or curatorship of historical collections in the health-care sciences, published in academic, trade, or private publishers within the three years prior to presentation of the award.
