Alabama Launchpad announced a change in this year's lineup of winners after one of the original finalists decided to operate outside Alabama, disqualifying them from the prize money.
The Alabama Launchpad Board of Directors met recently and announced the following winners:
- Grand Prize: Cellulosix (The University of Alabama)
- Second Place: SEA Desalination (The University of Alabama)
- Third Place: SSS Optical Technologies (Alabama A&M University)
