Lister Hill Library is undergoing several changes this fall to aid in continuing its mission of providing health information to students, faculty and staff.

All faculty, staff and students will be required to show their ID upon entering the building Aug. 1. Community members must show a demonstrated need for health information, otherwise they will be directed to Mervyn H. Sterne Library or one of the county's many public libraries.

Changes also will be made to the physical spaces in Lister Hill in an effort to give students more room to work.

"We hope these changes encourage students to come to the library to find materials, to study and connect with their classmates as we strive to the give the library back to the students," says Patricia Higginbottom, associate director of Lister Hill Library.
