Sarah Parcak, Ph.D., assistant professor in Anthropology, will discuss how NASA satellites and high-resolution space imagery are being used to discover hundreds of previously unknown ancient cities in Egypt during a Sigma XI pizza lunch meeting Wednesday, Nov. 19. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by the seminar at noon in Campbell Hall Room 274. The event is free and open to the public.
