Mark Lockhart, M.D., associate professor of radiology, will replace Warren Martin, Ph.D., professor of business, as chair for the June 1 to May 31, 2010, term of the UAB Faculty Senate.
A new chair-elect and secretary were selected in recent elections, and senators and alternate senators were chosen to represent the academic schools and libraries. Representatives to the Faculty Policies and Procedures Committee also were elected.
Mark Hickson, Ph.D., professor of communication studies, is the new chair-elect and Pat Greenup, Ph.D., associate professor of clinical laboratory sciences, will become secretary in the new term.
