All UAB retirees and UAB employees planning to retire are invited to attend the UAB Retirees Association meeting at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27 in the Homewood Library Auditorium. UAB President Carol Garrison will discuss “Building on Tradition and Forging the Future at UAB.” Joe Cottle, AEA Director of Government Relations, also will examine “2009-2010 State Budgetary Outlook and Politics: What You Need to Know.” A question-and-answer session will follow.
