The second annual UAB Aging Policy Conference will host a panel of leading state and national authorities to discuss health and health services for the elderly during this economic downturn.

The second annual UAB Aging Policy Conference will host a panel of leading state and national authorities to discuss health and health services for the elderly during this economic downturn.

Topics include challenges faced by Medicare and Medicaid in providing services, the link between seniors’ health and economic well-being, the actions of the Obama administration and more.

The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 29 at the Vulcan Park and Museum. Attendance is free, but registration is requested. Read more at www.soph.uab.edu.
