Think opera is stuffy and formal? Come see for yourself: infidelity, lies, and two women fighting over the same man will surely change your mind when UAB Opera presents Marvelous Mozart, an evening of scenes from Mozart operas at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21 in Hulsey Recital Hall.

Wonder if you'll understand it? All scenes will be sung in English. Kristine Hurst-Wajszczuk, Ph.D., directs selections from “Don GIiovanni,” “Bastien and Bastienna,” “Cosi Fan Tutte” and “The Marriage of Figaro” accompanied by pianist Kseniia Polstiankina. Admission is free.
