Matt and his team will work across the entire campus to promote a culture of research integrity, objectivity, and responsible practices in his capacity as the Director, Research Integrity Assurance, and UAB’s Research Integrity Officer.

Matt comes to UAB with 22 years of direct experience at academic institutions from across the country (North Carolina State University/Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Administration; Mississippi State University/Director of Research Administration and Facility Security Officer; and Washington State University/Assistant Director of Research and Grant Development), and 13 years as a consultant to universities in the realm of operational leadership and excellence.
