As you may be aware, an unintended consequence of the most recent upgrade of the IRAP system disabled the ability for the system to generate IRB approval letters. Research Technology & Communications has developed a temporary solution that will generate and send approval letters each night. These letters will be sent to the Principal Investigator and to all contacts listed on the IRB Personnel Form. Note that delegates will not receive these approval letters.
Official approval letters were sent in the early morning hours of June 30, 2020 for all submissions since April 24, 2020 that have not received an approval letter. Until a permanent solution is found, approval letters will be issued shortly after midnight each day for approvals generated the previous day.
