The expo showcases the research and service learning work produced by UAB undergraduates and other students in UAB summer research programs, summer REU programs, and other summer opportunities.

After all abstracts have been submitted, you will be assigned a number for submission purposes and be registered for the Canvas course. Look for the invitation to join the course.

Create Your Presentation

Poster presentations should be limited to five minutes, while oral presentations should be limited to 12 minutes or less. You can use the following formats/software:

• PowerPoint slides
• PowerPoint slides with narration (required for Oral Presentations) Find out how to do this here. You may use other programs of your choice.
• Poster slide with animation and narration (same as PowerPoint with narration)
• Video of you talking about your research
• Video of you presenting with a physical poster
