Just like you - each of our programs are unique. So we created an individualized postcard for each of our programs to deliver to potential students. As you look through them, you will notice they follow the UAB and School of Health Professions brand in the big picture. But within each are unique details about each that show you why they stand apart from each other as well as from other programs like them.
We have separated them below by department. Within each department, they are further divided by undergraduate and graduate programs. Each postcard is downloadable so we encourage you to take a closer look at the program that is right for you or the program that is right for a student you know.

The communications team is here to help coordinate all communication efforts.
Internally we have SHP Things to Know, a bi-monthly email covering announcements around the school and SHP Wellness in Action, a monthly email covering our physical, emotional, and mental wellness.
Externally we have SHP News, our website dedicated to the latest highlights from faculty, staff, students, programs, and alumni.
At the school-level, we also have active social media pages on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
In addition, we work with University Relations to place SHP stories on UAB News, in the UAB eReporter (email to employees every Tuesday and Friday) and GreenMail (email to students every Wednesday), and in traditional and non-traditional news media.

Where can I get the UAB logo?
Putting the UAB logo on your print and electronic communications connects you to the reputation of the UAB School of Health Professions and is required for University Relations' approval. Click here to visit UR's official logo page and download the UAB SHP logo.

How do I get something printed? (process)
Your print materials, like your students and alumni, are a direct reflection of your program so it is imperative you use high-quality printing. The standard process for quick turnaround, high quality printing is to use UAB Copy Services.
- Download, save and fill out their Printing/Mailing Internal Order Form.
- Include relevant project specifications (see sample email below).
- Attach artwork (usually a high-res PDF file).
- Send to UAB Copy Services at

How do I get an ad on the Blazer Express?
Blazer Express Advertising provides UAB schools, departments, programs and organizations the opportunity to boost your message to the Blazer community. You can purchase ads inside the bus, at the bus shelters, or on the bus. Click here to visit their website for pricing.
The School of Health Professions has digital signs at every elevator in SHPB, at the 9th Avenue Entrance, and in the Learning Resource Center lobby. The SHP communications team will review all sign content and sign submissions. We can also help you submit requests for placement in the Hill Center, the Rec Center, and other campus locations.
