The Professional Development Committee will host the Student Affairs Dessert Bake-Off Competition. If you have a knack for baking, enter your favorite baked treats to win. The competition will be on Thursday, Feb. 23, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in HSC 314. The winner will receive a certificate and bragging rights.
Contest Rules:
- Contestants may have more than one entry, but can only win one prize.
- Submissions must be home cooked (not store bought).
- Please do not submit anything that requires refrigeration.
- Contestants may work individually or with a team. (A prize will be awarded to one member/team only, NOT each individual).
- Please have the dessert ready to be served (i.e. cake sliced, etc. or bring a knife or appropriate serving utensil).
Contest Day:
- Check-in will be from 10:30-10:45 a.m. in HSC 314.
- Each submission will be assigned a number for judging. Submissions will be judged on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the highest in the following categories: presentation, originality, creativity, flavor and overall impression.
- There will also be a People’s Choice Award in which all Student Affairs employees will be able to taste the treats and vote for their favorite.
The winners will be announced via email.
