Blazers are friendly and helpful folks. If your student is new to UAB, he/she will learn that quickly. Even though you've attended orientation this summer, navigating campus on your first days of classes can be overwhelming.

If you're worried about your student finding their class on time, or if they're wondering whether they're even going the right way, tell them to look around for a UAB tent. Five tents will be stationed around campus the first two days of classes. Underneath them there is UAB staff and student leaders ready to answer your student's questions and point you in the right direction. Staff will be available to answer questions from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30.
