Disability Support Services (DSS) is excited to announce the 9th annual Wheelchair Flag Football match against Lakeshore Foundation’s team! This event will take place November 2 at 5 p.m. in the University Recreation Center, in the center courts.

All UAB community members are invited to show their support at this free event in observance of Disability Awareness Month. This event is now annually occurring during Homecoming Week, and has a special place here in the UAB sports and disability community.

"Participants and attendees will have the opportunity to experience this well loved sport from another perspective, while also highlighting inclusivity on our campus. We can’t wait to celebrate Homecoming and commemorate Disability Awareness Month!” stated Allison Solomon, Director of Disability Support Services.
