The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s (UAB) Leadership and Service Council is set to host its bi-annual Into the Streets program, a day of service connecting students, faculty, and staff with the Birmingham community.
Held each fall and spring semester, Into the Streets aligns with UAB’s mission to foster partnerships that enhance education, health, economic prosperity, and quality of life.
Volunteers will gather on the Campus Green at 9:00 a.m. for a kickoff event featuring check-in, breakfast from Chick-fil-A, and an educational session before departing for service projects throughout the city.
Participants must register in advance to take part in the initiative.
