Anticipation is mounting as the days inch closer and closer to the Welcome Back Concert presented by UAB Student Affairs featuring T-Pain. Dr. Mary Wallace, Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs, and Faiza Mawani, the Blazer Spirit Council Executive Director, recently appeared live on WBRC's Good Day Alabama with Jeh Jeh Pruitt on the Campus Green. During the segment, they discussed their enthusiasm for the concert which will welcome new and returning students back to campus.

Faiza, a senior who has never attended a concert at UAB, is excited about the upcoming event, “The only hope is we bring even more artists in the coming years, but let’s start with T-Pain.”

Dr. Wallace reminded viewers that the concert is only for UAB students, faculty and staff, “We’re so excited to provide this for students but also for one guest they might bring.”
