Campus favorite, Stress Less Week, is back again with a virtual lineup of events that will help you ease into finals week!
Stress is a natural occurrence that we all experience from time to time, however, elevated levels of stress for elongated periods can have a negative impact on your mental health and well-being. The purpose of Stress Less Week is to help students mitigate some of the common stressors they face when preparing for finals while also providing an opportunity for them to have a little fun!
“One of the major sources of stress and anxiety comes from feeling like yourlife is out of control,” said Student Counseling Services counselor April Coleman. “We would like for you to focus on the things within your control.”
Student Counseling Services and University Programs Board have tailored several activities that can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home. With events like Self-Care Monday, Peace Among Us and S’mores Indoors – each day of Stress Less Week will help you to relax, laugh and loosen up ahead of finals week.
