UAB's Got Talent

Don’t let exam stress overwhelm you this semester! Mark your calendars for UAB’s bi-annual Stress Less Week from April 18-22.


Beginning on Monday, April 18, participate in “Sidewalk Chalking” outside of the Hill Student Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Spread positive affirmations in an array of colors for all of campus to enjoy!

 

Continuing on Monday, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. students can visit a number of stations at "DIY Day.” Play carnival games, craft study buddies, pick up some swag and more!


On Tuesday, April 19, join Wellness Promotion for the Spring 2022 Wellness Fair! From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. tie-dye t-shirts, receive free health screenings, games, and more as you prep for a happy and healthy summer break.

 

After lunch head over to the Blazer RLC for the “Halfway There Bash” hosted by Second Year Experience from 1-3 p.m. Celebrate the fact that second-year students are halfway to graduation with free food, music, finals resources, and more!

 

As the evening winds down grab a friend or two and visit the Blazer RLC for “Silent Disco.” Enjoy a range of curated stations while you study from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

 

Find your inner zen on Wednesday, April 20 with URec as they host “Yoga on the Green.” They will have yoga mats set up on the Campus Green from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

 

To round out Stress Less Week University Program’s Board is proud to host “Escape Your Stress” at Breakout Birmingham! From 5 to 8:30 p.m. You and your friends can solve an array of puzzles and become the hero of your own story! Limited spots are available so please register in advance by clicking here.

 

Throughout the week you can follow Student Counseling Services on Instagram for the best study and self-care tips on Campus! Additionally, students can present their OneCard to the McDonald’s on 5th Ave South and get access to their Blazer Meal Deals!
