The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s (UAB) men’s basketball team and Student Housing and Residence Life will host Housing Night at Bartow Arena on Jan. 21. The event encourages students to join their fellow Blazers and support the men’s basketball team as they compete for a conference championship. UAB will face the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners in conference play. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 pm.

Students who check in at the student section will receive a special giveaway, while supplies last. Students must present their OneCard with a residence hall sticker at the designated check-in area to participate.

The Blazers are currently riding a four-game winning streak, including a 92-83 victory over the University of South Florida on Jan. 15. UAB’s strong performance has kept them competitive in the American Athletic Conference standings. UAB is currently 4-1 in conference play and tied for second place in the league standings.
