At UAB, we are dedicated to cultivating an environment that guarantees the success of our students. Our commitment extends to cultivating a space of safety, respect, and inclusivity for our campus community, both within the classroom and beyond. As part of our ongoing efforts, UAB has proudly partnered with Vector Solutions, an organization with a mission designed to create safer and healthier campus relationships. Through this partnership, we are introducing courses explicitly designed to educate students about preventing alcohol abuse and sexual assault within higher education.

UAB encourages you to complete the Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates and AlcoholEdu for College courses. These educational tools about sexual assault prevention and alcohol abuse prevention will help you to:

» Develop critical skills to make thoughtful and healthy choices outside the classroom
» Reflect on your knowledge, attitudes, and experiences related to these issues
» Support your peers and yourself when faced with tough situations

All incoming first-time undergraduate students are expected to complete these courses by November 1, 2023. By completing these courses students will be entered into a weekly drawing for a chance to win a $50 gift card! Click here to begin.
