UAB Campus Recreation invites you to an evening of new beginnings and fun times. Beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, officials will host a ribbon cutting for the new Intramural and Club Sports Field located at 1101 5th Ave. South. The installation of this field gives students a space to cheer on their friends from the sidelines or compete in friendly, yet competitive sports teams. Immediately following, join Campus Rec in kicking off the fall semester with its annual field, Recstravaganza (rain location is the UAB Campus Recreation Center).

Be one of the first 100 participants and receive a free T-shirt upon entry. There will be special giveaway prizes in addition to free food for all participants. Grab some friends and enjoy a variety of field games like corn hole, ladder golf, kickball, inflatables and more! This event will showcase programs the Campus Rec provides throughout the semester. Be sure to check out the activities offered by Adventure Recreation, Aquatics, Club Sports, Fitness and Wellness as well as Intramural Sports. Being involved through the Campus Rec is a great way to meet students with similar interests.
