The College Panhellenic Council (CPC) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham will host recruitment prior to the start of the fall 2023 semester. Panhellenic Recruitment will include Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Delta and Sigma Kappa.

The recruitment process will take place the week of August 15-19, 2023, starting with move-in. Participants will receive an email on their student account with information from UAB Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) for their designated move-in date.

This spring, FSL talked with students about their experiences in CPC sororities in which areas like sisterhood, friendship, leadership, involvement, and support were regarded as incentives to join. “My original intentions when coming into UAB was just to come to class and graduate. As a last-minute decision, I decided I wanted to make the best of the two years I had,” said Ashley Fallin, a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. “Joining a sorority allowed me to become involved in our community, make lifelong friends and fall in love with our university!”
