Aura Literary Arts Review, a student-powered literary arts magazine, brought home two national awards from the #MediaFest22 convention in Washington D.C.
Aura placed third in the nation for best literary arts magazine design and received an honorable mention for the best video promo/PSA in the College Media Association’s Pinnacle Awards.
Ashley Frith, 2021-2022 editor-in-chief, said she was proud to oversee the production of the magazine and rebounding after the pandemic.
“We came back stronger than ever and put out nationally-recognized material—I never imagined that would happen during my term as EIC,” Frith said. “I can’t thank the Aura staff enough for all the work they put in to make this a reality, and I’m so glad our efforts are being recognized.”
#MediaFest22 is a national media convention featuring a partnership between the Associated Collegiate Press, the College Media Association and the Society of Professional Journalists.
