Celebrate one of UAB’s greatest traditions with SpringFest 2018. Enjoy an array of food, games, music, and carnival rides, not to mention a free t-shirt. The event will take place Saturday, April 21 from 2-6 p.m on the UAB Campus Green. All UAB students can attend SpringFest, free of charge, with the appearance of their valid OneCard. Students are welcome to bring guests with a $5 entry fee.
While enjoying the festivities, don’t forget to pick up your wristband for the H.E.R. concert. Sponsored UAB Student Involvement & Leadership, University Program Board and the Undergraduate Student Government Association, the event is a great way to relax before preparing for finals. Tickets are free for a UAB student with a valid OneCard. General Admission tickets are $20, with online sales ending Friday, April 20. Tickets for non-UAB students will not be sold the day of so click here to scoop yours today!
The concert will take place in the Amphitheater of the Hill Student Center at 7 p.m. sharp. Kick off the end of the semester listening to the soulful music of H.E.R. Make sure you come to the concert prepared for the following:
- All attendees’ bags will be checked at the door.
- The following items are prohibited:
- Alcohol
- Animals (with the exception of service animals)
- Beverage containers
- Bottles and cans, with the exception of unopened bottled water
- All coolers (unless medically required)
- Illegal substances
- Sticks, bats, poles or clubs
- Umbrellas
- Weapons
- Remote controlled aircrafts or drones
- Any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate
