The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) will hold interest sessions for Resident Assistants (RAs) and Peer Wellness Ambassadors (PWAs) for the 2025-26 academic year. The interest sessions will take place from October 14 to November 8.

Prospective RAs are invited to attend an information session where they can learn about the application process and hear from professional staff and current RAs about the vital role they play as peer resources within the residence halls. Attendance at one of these sessions is mandatory for consideration.

Similarly, those interested in becoming a Peer Wellness Ambassador are encouraged to join an interest session to understand the responsibilities of the role and how to apply. Attendance at one interest session is also required to be eligible.
