The Undergraduate Student Government Association will host an "It's on Us" pledge event on November 16 from 2-4pm in the Blazer Hall Residence Life Center.

The "It's On Us" initiative asks everyone - men and women - to make a personal commitment to step off the sidelines and be a part of the solution by taking a pledge to help keep women and men safe from sexual assault. The initiative asks each person to:

• Recognize that non-consensual sex is sexual assault
• Identify situations in which sexual assault may occur
• Intervene in situations where consent has not or cannot be given
• Create an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.
