Veteran Services is hosting their annual Wreath Laying Ceremony on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 on the Campus Green. They will begin at 1 p.m. and will include a performance by the army band, a guest speaker and refreshments will be provided.

The ceremony will have several elements including a performance by the Army Band. The national anthem will be sung by Bessemer Police Chief Nathaniel Rutledge and the guest speaker will be Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper. UAB's ROTC will be posting other colors at the ceremony as well. Refreshments will be provided inside of Heritage Hall throughout the ceremony.
