UAB Disability Support Services (DSS) is proud to host the 11th annual wheelchair basketball game between UAB and the Lakeshore Foundation. This game showcases the remarkable skill and determination required in wheelchair sports.

A featured event during UAB Community Week, this year’s wheelchair basketball game will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at the Campus Recreation Center center courts. Starting at 6 p.m. the 3 point-play game is guaranteed to present a fun, competitive spirit with door prizes and half-time games for fans.

“We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the talents and achievements of these amazing athletes,” said Allison Solomon, Executive Director of Disability Support Services, “Every year the relationship grows and highlights inclusivity on our campus.”

This event is free and open to all persons in the UAB community. Join UAB Disability Support Services in cheering on UAB as they strive to triumph over the Lakeshore Foundation.
