You may have noticed a few people walking around dressed up as Waldo. Snag a picture with one of them if you want a chance to win an ENO hammock. Birmingham Cru is hosting a campus-wide game and the winner of the game will receive a free ENO. The rules are written in chalk on The Green:

According to their website, Cru is an International Mission Organization whose goal is to “share the love of Jesus with students and faculty.” Through events such as last week’s Annual Grillin’ on the Green and additional events such as txt-4-cookies, Cru is spreading their presence.
One of the Waldos, A.J Reese, commented on the significance of the event.
“We’re trying to reach out and give to the UAB population,” Reese said. “It’s completely on its own. It’s a way to meet students and interact with them. It’s not necessarily about spreading the word of Jesus but more about spreading the love.”
Cru will be handing out free coffee at their Open Mic Night on the Green from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and will also be delivering free cookies to those that text “blazercookies” to 85005 on September 21-22.
Cru Student Leader Joshua (Blue Jay) Tippett had a positive take on Cru’s purpose.
“I personally see Cru expanding beyond UAB’s campus,” Tippett said. “What’s exciting is the fact that the simplest acts of kindness and love will be what catalyze the expansion of Cru as events like txt-4-cookies continue to gain popularity and momentum among the student body.”
