Walk-In/Drop-In
The UAB Career Center offers a virtual “walk-in/drop-in” service available to UAB students without an appointment. The virtual walk-in/drop-in hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 4 :00 p.m. on a first come, first served basis. Click the yellow box below to access the walk-in/drop-in service via Zoom.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
for Scheduled Appointments
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify our office 24 hours in advance. This allows our staff to offer your appointment time to another student, who is in need of our services. Failure to cancel your appointment within 24 hours, more than once, will result in losing your appointment privileges for the semester; however, you may still utilize our drop-in services.
Student Career Outcomes
The student career outcomes provide insight into the employment and continuing education status of UAB graduates within an average of 6 months of their graduation date. Additionally, this self-reported data details employment, salary, and graduate school information. These reports constitute the only centralized employment data collection for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and are used by current students, employers, colleges/schools, departments, and other stakeholders.

Technology Partners & Forms
The UAB Career Center is proud to partner with providers of educational technology across the globe to offer the best user experience and content to those we serve. Our career technology platform encompasses partnerships with our employees, students, and other stakeholders through organizational, educational, and connective platforms. We enjoy relationships with our partners which give feedback and innovative space solutions and conversations on product-related trends, patterns, and perspectives, and user experience.
If you are a representative of education technology and would like to apply your product for review, please fill in the online form under one of the links below.
Unwanted product submissions will be reviewed on an annual basis in June and will be followed up if our team has interest or questions.
- Representatives with whom we have already been in touch and who are seeking a presentation, discussion, or other measures, will have their information checked promptly and establish a primary contact point for you.
- Ed-tech vendors with whom we already have a partnership will simply update and upload details in the form, and we can update records and documents inside our tracking system.
- Vendor Product submission form (products that require a contract, user login, payment, etc.)
- Career Resource submission form (websites or other products that are freely available to the public)
We look forward to an analysis of your bid and future collaboration!
