Express Lot 1, located on the western end of campus north of University Boulevard and adjacent to the UAB Parking Office, is now a commuter lot for students who have a Lot 15 parking permit.

The lot has more than 300 spaces and will be serviced by the Blazer Express Purple route, which runs to the edge of campus, making stops on 13th Street near Campbell Hall and the Mini Park and across from Mervyn Sterne Library. It runs 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday

“We are pleased to provide this additional new parking option for our students and encourage everyone to try this option to eliminate time spent searching for parking during the peak parking demand times,” said Chris Clifford, associate vice president for Business and Auxiliary Services.
