Directions

Make your way onto University Boulevard If traveling from the south on I-65N, take exit 259 for University Boulevard, take a right on University Blvd, and travel four blocks to 16th Street South. If traveling from the north on I-65S, take exit 259B for 4th Avenue South, take a right on 16th Street South, travel 4 blocks to University Blvd. If traveling from Hwy 31/Hwy 280, take the University Boulevard exit and take a right on University Blvd. Travel 11 blocks to 16th Street South. Parking is available in Lot 5A, the entrance to the lot is on 16th Street South.

Parking

Parking is available in Lot 5A, adjacent to the Hill Student Center. It is $2.00 for the first hour and then each additional hour is $1.00 to a maximum of $6.00 per day, per exit. Metered parking is available on 14th Street and University Boulevard, surrounding the Hill Student Center. Meters have a maximum time limit of one and a half hours. Cost per half-hour is $.25. Handicap meters have a maximum time of two hours at the same rate. For any additional arrangements regarding parking, please contact UAB Parking & Transportation at 205.934.3513.

Campus Tours are operated out of the Hill Student Center. Visitor parking is located in Lot 5A, directly adjacent to the HSC. A permit is required to park in the designated tour spaces.
