These tools are approved for general use by UAB academic enterprise users. You may use these tools for routine, individual work that usually does not involve restricted-PHI or regulated data.
Before using an approved tool, route the use case for review if it involves any of the following:
- PHI or patient-identifiable health information
- CMMC/CUI or other regulated data
- Clinical workflow or patient care activities
- System integration or automation
- Use beyond an individual or small team
- Purchasing or setting up an AI tool for broader use at UAB

Tools listed here may be used for Health System purposes only when requested and set up through the Health System approval process, especially if Protected Health Information (PHI) is involved. Email
