UAB Employee Wellness Appreciation Month

UAB employees, June is recognized as National Employee Wellness Appreciation Month and we are ready to celebrate you! 

UAB Employee Wellness Appreciation month (EWAM) is a FREE,  month-long program centered around fitness, wellness, and nutrition that focus to improve the healthy lifestyles of the UAB employees. We partner with Employee Wellness to make this happen!

Each Monday in June, participants will receive an email related to that specific weekly theme, where they will have an opportunity to learn something new, or to be challenged in a fun, engaging way, and ultimately, to become a better version of themselves!

Participants will also be able to access the Campus Recreation Center for the full Month of June! You must be registered and recieved confirmation in order to access the facility! You will also have a chance to participate in our in-person tabling sessions or email workshops each Wednesday to further improve their well-being.

All participants will be eligible to earn a discounted month of UAB University Recreation Membership + earn points in their My Health Rewards account.

Note: Only ACTVE UAB employees are eligible to participate in the UAB Employee Wellness Appreciation Month. Employees that have never visited the Campus Recreation Center before must stop by our Membership Services to fill out a liability waiver form. The check in challenge discounts are applicable to current UAB Employee Members.
