SUCCESS Initiative

The SUCCESS Initiative

As we celebrate a decade of growth in student enrollment — a remarkable 12% increase from 2014 to 2024 — we are eager to carry this momentum into the next decade.

RNL Report Survey Report

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), distinguished by its commitment to the quality of education provided to students, is dedicated to collaboratively working to establish a roadmap to achieve continued enrollment growth and improve our students' success. The Strategic and Unifying Campus Collaboration that Empowers Students to Succeed (SUCCESS) Initiative is creating that roadmap. Through strategic planning, investment in our people, and collaboration, we will ensure that UAB continues to be a decidedly sought-after destination by highly qualified students empowered to be successful.

Over the past year, we partnered with Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL) consulting services to advise us in developing our strategic roadmap. RNL worked diligently to gather feedback from our stakeholders, review our organizational structure, and assess our current practices. Additionally, we conducted an internal survey, receiving over 700 responses from our community. This inclusive process has been instrumental in shaping our path forward.
