Advisors in the College of Arts and Sciences are dedicated to helping you get the most out of your education and your future career.
Maybe you know what you want to study and maybe not—but whether you're interested in anthropology or neuroscience or almost anything in between, we know you'll find what you're looking for here. You can choose majors in the arts or in the sciences, pursue interdisciplinary majors that combine the two, and even design your own major with the help of our faculty.
The College of Arts and Sciences offers more than 30 majors (with even more concentrations) through 19 departments and multiple interdisciplinary programs. In addition, there are more than 45 minors you can use to help round out your studies—these can complement your career goals or give you the chance to study another field you're intrigued by.
Finding the right major can be intimidating—it influences what jobs you can get and what graduate programs you can apply for. Sometimes it isn't obvious which major your interests fit or what sort of job you'll get with the major you're interested in. We can help!
