The College of Arts and Sciences honored alumni recipients of the UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 Award(s) at a June 23rd reception at Cahaba Brewing. The UAB National Alumni Society launched the Excellence in Business Top 25 Awards program in 2013 to identify, recognize, and celebrate the success of alumni business leaders.

Eric Meyer, 2015 Excellence in Business honoree and Co-owner of Cahaba Brewing, spoke to past and current honorees and guests about his journey in the brewery business and gave a tour of the new facility located in Avondale. Eric received his Bachelor of Science degree with an Individually Designed Major in 2001.

In addition to touring the facility, guests also enjoyed appetizers alongside a sampling of some of Cahaba Brewing's best beers. Dean Palazzo congratulated the honorees and spoke of the importance of the connections between the College of Arts and Sciences and the business community.
