Submissions will be reviewed early in the spring semester. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection via e-mail. If you have any questions or would like to submit a paper, please contact the Executive Editor, Tim Granger, at vulcanhistoricalreview@gmail.com. You will receive a confirmation e-mail stating that your submission has been received.All history students at UAB, including recent alumni, are encouraged to submit articles, reviews, essays, oral histories, or other works of historical interest to be considered for publication. Submissions by any currently enrolled UAB student are also welcome.
Submissions
All submissions should follow the Chicago Manual of Style and be free of spelling and grammatical errors. Footnotes will be used in the final publication (no endnotes or bibliographies). It is suggested that authors discuss their work with their professors prior to submission.Deadline for submission of papers: February 4, 2015
