davietta mcdoleDavietta McDole, the Department of Justice Sciences Administrative Associate, was recognized for 35 years of service at the UAB Service Awards Ceremony held on February 20 at the Doubletree Hotel. Ms. McDole has served the department in various support and administrative capacities since being hired in 1979.

Department Chair Dr. John Sloan suggested that Ms. McDole is the real authority in the department, since she “knows all the rules,” not to mention where “all the skeletons are buried.” He also complimented her on her attitude, professional demeanor, and competence. “I’d be lost without her.”
