NSF awarded a new grant to Prof. Solorio that will support the creation of annotated corpora to study mixed-language sources. This grant is part of a large scale collaborative project with researchers Mona Diab and Julia Hirschberg from Columbia University. The language pairs under study include Spanish-English, Arabic-English, Hindi-English, Mandarin-English and Arabic-Arabic.
