The International Trumpet Guild has invited the University of Alabama at Birmingham Trumpet Ensemble to perform at its conference May 26-30.Assistant Professor James Zingara of the UAB College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Music directs the UAB Trumpet Ensemble. The ensemble features students Katie Boyd of Hueytown, Melanie Edwards and Mollie Edwards of Springville, Mason McFarland of Irondale, Eric Nelson of Alabaster, Alex Panion of Hoover, Cesar Rivera of Birmingham, Drew Romanowski of Helena, Nick Tyler of Warrior and Bill Walker of Montgomery.
