Chemistry undergraduate student and Chemistry Scholar Calla McCulley was one of the nine individuals selected for the NSF-Funded Summer REU Program at Bristol and Bath for this July-August 2015.
This is a seven-week program where participants work a forty-hour week in their research lab; and, at the end of the program, each student will give a research presentation of their work.
Calla will be working for Dr. Ulrich Hintermaier at the University of Bath for this program. Dr. Hintermaier's research focuses on applied catalysis with metal complexes to develop more sustainable processes and alternative evergy conversion schemes in a multi-disciplinary approach.
From this program, Calla expects to gain research experiences, cultural experiences, and growth as an individual.
