A group of UAB’s incoming doctoral students have been selected as recipients of the UAB Graduate Fellow in the Arts and Sciences award.

This prestigious fellowship honors applicants to doctoral programs in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences who show exceptional promise in research and scholarship and offers an annual stipend of $32,000, plus tuition and fees. 

The fellowships are typically granted for two years, contingent on satisfactory progress and department recommendation.

This year’s group of awardees comprises students who are pursuing doctorates at UAB after completing undergraduate degrees and master’s programs at institutions across the United States.
