The ACT Network, developed and funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) through its Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program, is a real-time platform that enables researchers to explore and validate cohort feasibility and identify potential partners for clinical studies from the comfort of their desktops. The CCTS is part of the ACT Network, one of ~40 participating CTSA sites nationwide.
The Network provides access to data aggregated from the electronic health records of more than 100 million patients. ACT data, which are secure, HIPAA-compliant, and IRB-approved, support the discovery, exploration, and validation of patient cohorts for investigator-initiated multisite or single-site clinical trials.
